WCA Electives

Even though 1st-8th grades tuition include five core subjects and 9th-12th grades tuition include six core subjects, some students may desire or need an additional course. Gifted students may need an elective to broaden their education. Other students may have a special interest area. Some students may need an extra course to graduate on time. WCA has a number of elective courses that can be taken in addition to the included core courses. It is recommended to visit with your course counselor to evaluate student load.  Students who are not full-time have an increased elective cost to cover administration.

High school students choosing an online course must use the Teacher on Call option. High school students choosing a booklet course will NOT have the Teacher on Call for that particular elective. Students 8th grade and younger choosing an online course have the choice of using or not using the Teacher on Call feature.

Full-time Student Elective Course Costs:

  • Online Full-Year Course WITHOUT Teacher On Call feature $175.00
  • Online Semester Course WITHOUT Teacher On Call feature $100.00
  • Online Full-Year Course WITH Teacher On Call feature $265.00
  • Online Semester Course WITH Teacher On Call feature $150.00

Part-time Student Elective Course Costs: See WCA Part-time Courses page
